Detailed Notes:

Yup, 4Gb of RAM and completely unmetered 100Mbit NIC. This would be a cracking server farm node if they don't oversell their global connectivity. They also do a EU location for a tenner more - US$52/month.

Pros:

We like the dual core Atom, the 4Gb of RAM is really generous and the 500Gb HD also plenty. We can't get over the unmetered 100Mbit NIC, that's like 33Tb/month, an unbelievable amount for just US$42/month. But, there is a big catch ...

Cons:

Yes, there is one huge con to this otherwise breathtaking deal - to get that US$42/month you need to prepay for one year. If you want any less than one year, it gets MUCH more expensive going right up to US$150 for one month.

Verdict:

It's too specialised to make our leaderboard, but for some people with really niche requirements e.g. supplying a shit load of data to others - you won't find any cheaper than this. I would caution you though that they are surely paying way more than they are charging you if people are making any use of such bandwidth capacity - as far as I know, wholesale 100Mbit unmetered bandwidth is easily US$300/month alone. So caveat emptor!
