Detailed Notes:
Note that we added 1Gb of RAM for an extra US$10/month to the base package. We really like the massive range of add-ons and options from this provider - you can truly customise your server in almost any conceivable way, and the pricing for these addons is generally very reasonable - our only concern was that addon blocks of 10Tb are in our mind too large and a per-Tb addon pricing scheme would be much more fair.
Pros:
Very generous network transfer for a low end dedi. Lots and lots of well priced options in the add-ons department.
Cons:
The 2.4Ghz Celeron is old Netburst technology and is actually some 22% slower than a 1.2Ghz Celeron D 220 (which is Core1 based). Memory bandwidth is also around 25% slower. You don't want to be running much on this server.
Verdict:
An excellent low end dedicated server offering particularly suited for serving out lots of data.
